The Study Overview
Figma platform is a collaborating design tool that many designers use for their projects. Figma is a straightforward tool, and that is why it is trendy among designers and even regular users.
Based on our initial study via a short survey and interview with Figam users, our team found Figma does not have communication features that allow users to have real-time communication during their corporation. In real life, some issues or conflicts could appear during the user's work that must be immediately solved. Figma users, primarily those who work remotely, use another platform to talk or message to solve any issue, which costs them time and effort.
Our team believes that adding Real-time communication capabilities to Figam will improve its effectiveness and efficiency for the designers, especially those who collaborate remotely on their design projects.

The Purpose of our Study
Our Study is for designers who remotely collaborate. Because our study is focused on the users (user-centered design), we conducted this study to find out how our prototype that has the new communication features meets users' needs and, at the same time, uncovers any issues that we can fix in the future. Our team wanted to observe how the user would interact with the new communication features that we added to Figma.
Also, by conducting this study, our team has the chance to explore our overarching research questions:
